A Hero Passes
It is with much sadness that I report the passing of Colonel Donald Blakeslee, commander of the 4th fighter group during WWII.
I never had the opportunity to meet Colonel Blakeslee, but I was proud to be a member of the virtual 4th FG and I know he appreciated our efforts to keep the memory of what he accomplished alive.
