Got Flickr?
I do. I opened a Flickr account today as a way to get some more people looking at my photos and giving me some feedback. I’m trying to keep what I have in my gallery here separate from what I put up on Flickr, but I already have one crossover. The Big Project is still germinating, I have some e-mails to write and some research to do, but hopefully I’ll launch that in late 07 so yous guys out there can have something made by me in your hot little hands.
I’ve been seeing a lot of photo blogs talking about post processing and manipulation in Photoshop. I really don’t have a problem with photogs doing that sort of thing, in fact I’ve seen some really spectacular stuff done that way, but I’m really not into it, I’d rather make my shot in the camera. that being said, I have done some “cleanup”. Mostly eliminating dust specks and the like. But when it comes down to it I don’t mind missing a few marginal shots that could be manipulated into good ones. When you have a 2GB storage card, quantity IS quality. (that’s a joke son…)
