Goodbye Ms. Lynn
It’s sad new to hear that anyone in the aviation community has passed away, it’s doubly striking when it is some one you have met and talked to. Aero- News Has reported that Pilot Nancy Lynn has succumbed to injuries that she received in an accident while flying an airshow in Virginia.
I have met Nancy and her son Pete, you could not ask for a nicer set of people. Nor find a family more devoted to aviation and flying. Nancy has done a lot to encourage women to get in to the cockpit, but never once failed to take an opportunity to include everyone she could in her passion. My deepest condolences to her family, and specifically Pete, who all but helped us run the Flight Simulator booth at Oshkosh for the 5 years I was there.
