First Airshow of the Season.
The Lovely Wife and I drove down to Olympia today to my first airshow for the summer. The Olympic Flight Museum kicked off the summer with their “Gathering of Warbirds” show at the Olympia airport. Although it was a gray and overcast day. The clouds were high enough that the pilots could do a fairly high show. Of course, since this is the first airshow of the season, it’s also the first time I have had an opportunity to give the new camera a really good workout. Over all I’m pleased with the results, although I still am working out a few kinks with the learning process. The cloudy day precluded getting the really striking shots I was hoping for, but I did get a few that are interesting.
